Ads Disclosure

Indie Commerce Hub participates in the Google AdSense program. Ads are currently disabled by default and only appear when monthly sessions (per Plausible) exceed the threshold configured in our environment settings.

Placements

We only run in-article, sidebar, or footer placements. No interstitials, autoplay video, sticky ads, or deceptive UI. Ad units are clearly labeled “Advertisement” with contrasting backgrounds and comply with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Controls & throttling

• Environment flags let us pause all ad scripts instantly if layout shift risk is detected.
• We cap density at one ad per 600px of content and never within FAQ accordions or form blocks.
• Visitors from the EU will see a consent prompt before any ads load.

Revenue use

Ad revenue funds additional guides, magnets, and community support for the indie commerce ecosystem. We do not accept paid placement for reviews. Ads never influence our editorial coverage or lead routing.
